                     How we work

  

   We enjoy learning, engaging in dialogue that is meaningful, experiences that inspire us, sharing our resources, contributing to the success of others and developing relationships built on respect and trust. This is true for us in our personal and our business relationships. We see working with organizations and individuals as partnerships that are mutually beneficial. We don't want to  "sell and bill" you. What we do want is an ongoing relationship with you where we can all enjoy an exchange of value. We think people are more receptive to building or continuing a business relationship because we are consulting with them instead of selling to them. If the problem is conflict in your workplace, supporting a valued relationship through a personal set-back, the need for training to add to your own or your employees capabilities, this is the value we can bring. We are clear where we can provide value and where we cannot. If we are unable to assist you, we will be happy to refer you to someone else if we can.

    7. being heard and acknowledged are basic human needs, and
    8. everyone has value, just as they are, simply because they ARE.

Our aim for your personnel is to increase self-awareness, to empower individuals, to increase job-satisfaction and thereby, productivity, and to send better adjusted, less stressed people home to their families at the end of each day.

 Mediation

   Our mediators are certified and trained in Interest-based Conflict Resolution.

As a third party who manages a conversation between two conflicting parties,

the goal is toward working out a mutually satisfactory resolution. As the neutral third party we would seek to discover the root causes of the conflict and search for the shared basic human element that would encourage the other parties to consider each other's point of view. This is done in a structured format that guarantees safety and respect for all participants.

Understanding is often the impetus to seeking resolution.

 Coaching

   Our coaches are certified and trained in Solution-focused coaching. This approach uses NLP methodologies for rehearsing future scenarios as people plan and strategize for specific results. Linking heart-felt values, creativity and vision with action steps, commitment and accountability, people move into the lives they want to be living. In workplace settings the coach works with clients to focus on their long-range goals, skill-sets, productivity and effectiveness. The Return on Investment for coaching is money well spent especially when it comes to assisting employees through difficult personal challenges.

 Training

   Our instructors use a discover and experience for yourself approach to learning as workshop participants are actively engaged in the learning process.

Starting with ourselves, we practice what we teach, use the skills to model

the skills, disclose our own personal wins and losses, and enjoy ourselves

immensely! Engaging both sides of the brain is not just possible, it is desirable.

Our courses are tailored to meet your objectives based on your assessment of what you want for your organization. We custom-design a training program for you, which may include mediation and coaching.
